Communications Planning Manager

An IPA CPD accredited media agency, who have been regularly mentioned as one of the most desirable businesses to work for in our industry are growing their 12 person comms planning team.

Separated only by some glass walls, they sit (in the same office) as the media arm of a wider advertising collective, currently sat firmly in the bracket of the new age agency holding group, created to remain future proof, consultative and full service.

Due to continued new business wins, increased annual spend by pre-existing clients, they are looking to add not only one, but two planning managers to their team, in the bid to maintain their strategic nature.

Key thing to note: they do not have a strategy team, so as a comms planning unit, they build both media strategy and campaign focused comms plans (So you’ll definitely be getting more exposure if you’re looking for that eventual step).

What do they need?

• Previous communications planning/media planning experience, ideally coming from an independent agency.
• Understanding the process of using insights, crafting ideas and then building these into realistic comms plans.
• Experienced planning both digital & traditional media (however the split here is 60/40).
• The attitude of wanting to learn more.
• Keen to progress (the hiring manager has been promoted twice in two years, a great person to be working for).
