​Account Manager - Agency Sales

As an Account Manager, you will have the unique opportunity to work hands-on within the front lines of the online advertising industry. Account Managers collaborate daily with the world's major interactive ad agencies and direct advertisers, helping them achieve their marketing objectives. Working across a few key verticals, Account Managers also contribute directly to VideoVendor's bottom line by collaborating to grow advertiser account budgets over time. The Account Manager role offers an interesting and challenging combination of using leading-edge technology and data analysis to develop verticalized strategies while interacting with clients.

Offering a video solution in advertising is generally challenged with poor visibility or ad fraud. My client solution is guaranteeing against that, without trying to promise the world. Programmatic Solution can be a tough sell but a lot of the growth in the company has come from long term agency/advertiser partnerships.


  • Proactively manage multiple advertiser client accounts across key verticals

  • Cultivate positive business relationships with media planners and buyers at ad agencies and direct clients

  • Ownership of campaign lifecycle including trafficking, renewals, incremental and campaign reporting

  • Analyze campaign objectives vs. performance data and identify strategies for maximizing campaign ROI

  • Regularly contact advertiser clients regarding campaign optimization, growth strategies and additional opportunities

  • Work collaboratively with Sales Team and Product Specialists on proposals to clients, leveraging experience from previous campaigns

  • Attend industry conferences and lend verticalized expertise to internal teams and clients to help grow business

  • Collaborate with internal teams to help troubleshoot and problem solve as needed

  • Some travel within the US required


Required Skills:

  • A self-starter who can set their own priorities and work well with other teams to achieve personal and company goals

  • Polished verbal and written communication skills, with both internal colleagues and external clients

  • Highly organized, with ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Strong problem-solving skills with strict attention to detail

  • Ability to analyze and showcase data in Excel and other MS Office programs

  • Comfortable presenting to both internal and external teams with a focus on upselling

  • Experience with commercial ad serving systems including DCM, Prisma, Flashtalking, etc.


  • Thorough understanding of digital advertising and an enthusiasm for the digital media industry

  • Background in providing excellent service to Fortune 1000 clients

  • Proven experience working with advertising clients to fully understand their business model and campaign objectives, and ability to develop strategies to meet their goals

  • Adept at uncovering new revenue opportunities and identifying risks

  • Enjoy working in a collaborative team environment, sharing knowledge across the company

  • Extremely proactive and process oriented

  • Ability to prioritize and focus, with strict attention to detail

  • Media agency experience a strong plus
