Agency Sales Manager - Omnicom Media Group

The Agency Sales Manager is responsible for selling across OMD, PHD and a few other independent agencies. AS they rebrand to a new video solution, it will be your role to sell the new product to the existing network throughout the transition period.

With agency teams already using the previous platform, they are looking to hire a trustworthy salesperson to nurture existing and find new relationships across Advertising.

About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Maximize revenue growth with top advertising agencies

  • Selling Video solutions and Cross-platform tech to Network and independent agencies

  • Manage and grow an existing book of business

  • Engage agency decision-makers at all levels

  • Conduct detailed needs assessments

  • Plan, prepare and execute high impact meetings with prospects and clients

  • Utilize research in presentations and interactions with prospects and clients

  • Develop winning selling strategies and proposals across display, video, and mobile advertising platforms

Required Skills

  • Superior skills in all facets of the sales cycle including prospecting, negotiating, and the ability to sell based on value - not price

  • Understanding of audience profiles, online ad targeting, and campaign optimization

  • Proven communication, presentation, and sales skills with a knack for consultative selling

  • Proven record of strategic development of Fortune 1000 client base

Qualifications

  • BA/BS required

  • 5+ years of progressive online experience

  • 3+ years experience calling on online advertisers

  • In-depth knowledge and contacts with top online advertisers

  • Strong understanding of industry trends, technologies, and pricing models

  • Excellent understanding of agency dynamics and campaign buying and planning

  • Strong knowledge of ad campaign metrics and analysis
