Agency Sales Manager –Ad Tech Business - Madrid
Base salary of up to €51K + €30k comms + benefits
My client is a leading international ad tech business majoring in the eCommerce space. Our client is part of the “royalty” of ad-tech brands. We’re looking for a sharp, sophisticated well-connected Sales Manager to be based in Madrid and to have a comprehensive and expansive black book of media agencies across all holding groups in the Madrid media agency scene. We are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic and charismatic digital media sales professional who has the ability to work autonomously with minimum supervision who can connect with senior stakeholders at agencies and present my client’s solutions in a consultative manner. Candidates must have an extensive understanding of online media, and around 8 - 10 year media sales experience + a proven track record in revenue generation and new business. The candidate must be results oriented and committed to achieving sales targets. The role reports into the Director of Agency Sales for ES.
Take ownership of driving revenue from Madrid agencies across all holding groups
Individually drive new business across multiple advertisers.
Rep agency patch carrying out sales related activity including face-to-face presentations, responding to RFP’s, client entertainment and more.
Cultivate relationships with agency and client contacts to gain deep insight into their business and ultimately provide solutions for their marketing and advertising goals
Present and pitch suitable solutions from our clients portfolio to match the client and advertiser’s marketing needs and business goals
Support Sales Leadership in developing, managing, and executing strategic sales opportunities
Minimum of 8 - 10 years of experience selling online advertising / media sales
Existing black book of media agency contacts at Madrid agencies from planner-buyer level to MD and above
History of exceeding sales targets
Must possess superb excellent written and verbal communication skills - Spanish at native level and English at business level
Must be a highly motivated team player but also to operate independently and solo where possible
Must be a consultative seller
Must be able to grasp complex concepts and translate them into simple terms of agencies and clients to help convert sales
PowerPoint, Excel, Salesforce and Word / MS Office skills a must
