The Role

We are looking to hire a Agency Sales Manager to join its growing APAC team. Reporting directly into the APAC. General Manager, you will be expected to utilize existing business relationships, as well as develop new ones across the media and sports industry and to provide appropriate solutions to clients’ challenges. Your day-to-day responsibilities will have you working closely with agencies (Media/Sports Marketing).

The Candidate

He/she must have an established network of industry contacts with local and regional media agency planning teams, media agency trade desks, sports sponsorship agencies and clients direct. A strong understanding of the digital media industry and trends within both the football and the sports industry will be necessary.   • Develop appropriate solutions for brands and advertisers to help them achieve their goals.

  • Utilize existing relationships and develop new ones with relevant clients and club commercial partners to unlock revenue opportunities.

  • Establish client’s objectives, create appropriate sales responses, pitch, effectively manage your day-to-day business relationships and ensure salesforce is kept up to date.

  • Meet and exceed quarterly/annual regional revenue targets.

  • Work with the GM, APAC to structure and execute Go-To-Market client direct and club partners strategy.

  • Forge strong internal relationships with our clubs, publishers, editorial, social, legal and marketing teams to maximize sales opportunities.


  • Successful and proven track record in media sales.

  • A proven ability of successfully interpreting a client’s objectives, creating an aligned response and presenting.

  • Experience of selling to local and regional agency teams across the SEA region.

  • Competent PowerPoint/KeyNote skills.

  • Experience of selling sport/football is preferable.

  • AExperience of using Salesforce is preferable.

  • Love of football or sport in general is a bonus.
