Client Account Director

A sports centric Independent media agency who are based in the South West are looking for a Client Account Director to join the team and help them grow the business by building strong relationships with existing clients to further generate increased revenue.

Having operated for around 11 years and with over 50 staff in their office in the South West, this agency is known for creating marketing strategies for sports brands that generate hype, initiate conversations which ultimately results in effective growth for their clients!

They have many combined years of expertise in the industry, fuelled by incredible market knowledge and passion for the brands they are partnered with, ones you may know or use yourself if you are into your sports!

Culture wise, its no secret they are all sporting mad themselves with many company events and activities for the team to get involved in. From as simple as everyone comparing their Strava times in the Monday morning meeting to being invited to huge industry events their clients host, if you're someone that loves media and sports, this is not a role to miss out on.

If you have experience maintaining and understanding a clients goals & objectives and want to further own your own relationships to ensure that your clients are getting the best service possible, then I highly recommend expressing an interest in this role.

Role responsibilities + requirements:

  • 4+ years in a media environment in an Account Management/Client Services/Client Manager position

  • Experience taking a deep dive to understand the clients goals, needs and challenges to ensure that success is achieved

  • Understanding revenue streams and how to upsell to clients

  • Great people management ability and an understanding of delivering to commercial and agreed upon timeframes

  • Internal management ability, having looked after people before, supporting them on their growth and personal development plans

  • Strong understanding of the marketing ecosystem, knowing products and trends inside out to ensure clients are utilising the latest techniques to stay at the forefront of what is possible
