The position:

The essence of this role is to generate revenue by maximising relationships and generating client opportunities. The position requires someone with significant digital ad sales experience who is target driven and proactive with a versatile, positive and determined nature. Solid market knowledge and technical understanding are essential. This person must be a confident presenter, strong relationship builder and persuasive negotiator. This person will be a strategic thinker who enjoys creating and delivering large scale innovative, brand campaigns.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute appropriate sales strategies; business development, marketing, technical, ad operations and sales support programs to maximize sales and profitability.

  • Meet quarterly revenue targets

  • Negotiation, development and maintenance of trading deals

  • Create strong relationships with key client stakeholders at both senior and mid-management levels with media agencies, DSPs & 3rd party partners

  • Maintain sales volume, product mix and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators and competitors

  • Work with internal teams to ensure the highest level of customer service

  • Ensure new businesses is a priority to grow all possible revenue streams

  • Work closely with colleagues on cross-territory opportunities and internal teams across various projects

  • Brief design team

  • Ensure pipeline is up to date with live and proposed campaign information and agency contact details

  • Analysing data, building reporting and making strategic recommendations based on data and trends

You must have:

  • 4+ years of digital advertising sales experience

  • Positive attitude with clients and co-workers

  • An independent self-starter who has an interest in the advertising industry and is keen to develop skills in marketing and research

  • Creative problem solving

  • A high level of initiative

  • Ability to give and receive effective feedback with respect

  • Proven ability to consistently deliver and exceed sales targets

  • Experience identifying additional revenue streams and acquiring new business

  • Possess the confidence to deliver high quality and engaging sales presentations

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Collaborative individual who thrives in a team environment
