The DD will create a proactive, actionable vision that can inspire & direct excellent creative execution. He or she is the connector between strategy and tactile execution from brief to project completion.
Partner with ECD in developing appropriate project plan, process and tools
Know when to drive vision, while being flexible enough to recognize and elevate new ideas
Deep understanding of all strategic tools and partners with the CS on consumer insights, competitive landscapes, IDC development, brand architecture
Be a multi-category thought leader
Leads client-facing idea building sessions & demonstrate design leadership in collaborative brainstorms (e.g. ideas, sketches, positive team encouragement) in partnership with CS
Leads the development of a new brand positioning (with all required components) & as well as the creation of new brand identity systems
Confidently prepare & deliver brand, initiative or pitch presentations
Brand ownership at a team and client level: responsible for all key decisions, ongoing brand development and all brand level conversations
Provide inspiration and direction to encourage quality ideas and execution that delivers on brief objectives
Encourages & demonstrates problem solving & design thinking to deliver quality solutions every time
