We are working with one of the worlds most distinguished media agencies who have a senior opportunity to take a lead on a global sports client - one that you will know about, have purchased their products before and stand out from the market as the top brand in their sector by a huge margin.
Leading from the front and managing a large team, this role will be involved spearheading the performance marketing offering for this client, building the strategy as to how they should buy media and ensuring that they continue to deliver campaigns that people still talk about in years to come.
This role reports into the client lead at the Agency, however involves a close relationship with the Managing Partner of the global sports brand. Therefore this position requires extensive client management experience and a proven track record in commanding and motivating a large team of performance specialists.
A strong understanding of all biddable channels is a must, however a focus on Paid Social is incredibly important in this role and an extensive understanding of the different platforms and emerging partners available in the market is required as this client is always pushing the boundaries of innovation.
The sports client is based in Amsterdam and as such there is scope for this position to be moved to the agency's office in the Netherlands and be truly embedded into the clients business a few days a week.
Extensive experience agency side in a client lead, digital planning or performance marketing position
A great interest in sports
Strong experience leading and managing large teams
Extensive experience managing senior stakeholders and the skillset to build new relationships quickly
Commercial mindset with an understanding of how to increase revenue streams and drive business growth
Great understanding of the wider AdTech/MarTech landscape, industry trends and new players that could be used as partners
