Challenger brands have made a huge dent in most industries. They've configured products that give the C-Suite of most global brands nightmares, but fundamentally they've offered the consumer an alternative and a new way. One of the best things about the FinTech world is that there are some key challenger banks that resonate both on a product & personality level with their target audiences.

Imagine if there was a centralised business who have helped create these products and started a generation of new thinking, new approaches and new propositions. The answer to that question is, there is and they're looking to add a Paid (Digital) Media Manager to their continually growing Marketing team.

This is a new role for the business and a first of its kind, but they have been running campaigns across Paid Social & Display for quite some time. However, that's not to say the set-up is completed and there isn't room for improvement, because they need you, the expert to come in and be the centralised planning and buying function.

It is a "one man band" type role currently and that's down to bringing in someone senior enough that can be both a strategist and an implementer and help drive the growth of their brand and take ownership of all Paid Media activity across Display & Social.

The opportunity to build out that team and function is imminent, and the ownership of implementation and reporting will soon be passed down to an executive/analyst, but first they need you to get your feet under the table and own all operations.

Before you ask, no they do not use and agency and with the way the market is heading, it's no surprise. Their CMO comes from a well-known agency that was built on trust and transparency and with their move in-house, they're keen to keep the ownership within the marketing team and bring in either media or digital agency planner/buyer who wants that level of ownership.

  • Master level paid social skills with the aptitude for experimentation and a/b testing.

  • Hyper organised and a very strong attention to detail.
  • Experienced in GDN (Google Display Network)
