​Role - Digital Planning Director

Salary - up to £50,000

Are you working in a digital agency or media business leading client relationships and creating multi channel digital strategy?

Ever fancied a change from working with large, slow moving, big name brands and and wanted to move to a business where you will have more impact, build direct relationships with the CEO’s and be fully invested in building their digital approach from the ground up?

We are working with an established Digital Agency who have entered a period of hyper growth as an initiative they launched a couple of years ago to provide venture backed, E-commerce & subscription based businesses with an end-to-end digital offering providing them the much needed guidance and expertise to excel in the current market. This shift in the agency's clientele has been an enormous success for them; has gained them a ton of new business wins and it now accounts for a serious share of their overall revenue.

The area of E-commerce and subscription based businesses has been a sector of massive growth over the last few years with brands like Hello Fresh, Gousto, Dollar Shave Club, Lootcrate and Beer52 becoming household names! You will have the opportunity to be embedded into businesses like these, working closely with their CEOs and MDs to fully understand their goals and play a central role on their strategic business plans.

This role will require someone who has a growth focussed mindset, someone who is willing to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in with multiple clients at the same time and someone who really wants to see their clients succeed and be along with them for the ride!

Core responsibilities -

  • Managing a team of activation focussed account managers

  • Building internal and external relationships with new clients and the roster already on board

  • Developing an in depth understanding of your clients goals, budgets, KPIs and how you can achieve them

  • Strong understanding of all paid media channels, what their capabilities are, how they can all be used together in one cohesive strategy

  • Assisting team in pitching to win new business

  • Assessing team performance, team development and driving them to success

Requirements

  • Multiple years experience working agency side or with a client in paid media

  • Strong communication skills and client management experience, directly dealing with CEOs and MDs is a huge plus

  • Hands on experience in activation across paid media channels 

  • Past experience managing a team of people

  • Strong understanding of paid media channels (Search, Social, Programmatic, Display) what each one is capable of and how it can be used

  • Passionate about digital and the clients you work on

  • Experienced in pitching for new business highly preferred

  • Experience in looking at clients long term strategy and identifying areas of new growth
