Digital Sales Manager - Advertising Tech Start-up
Salary - Circa £50-60K + comms
A really exciting role has made itself available at an innovative AdTech start-up who are looking for a salesperson to lead their charge to market.
With bespoke proprietary tech and a unique offering for the 'post-cookie world' they are looking to disrupt the AdTech space with a solution which offers transparency, viewability and a consent led approach to ensure advertisers can reach consumers in a way which is fraud free and value for money.
They are looking for a connected and experienced agency/brand sales professional, someone with a network of agency/brand contacts who they can pitch this unique offering to. Ideally this person will have around 4+ years experience in AdTech who can understand a complex and sophisticated offering to drive revenue and growth!
There are great opportunities for progression, high commission and an open patch to go after, on top of that the role would involve remote working and plenty of autonomy as one of their first critical hires.
They have a completely new targeting and publishing model, which will become the future of Digital Advertising in the new post-cookie world. They'll compete with other walled gardens providing a one of a kind and high value selling proposition.
You will relish the chance to evangelise about the product with agencies & brands - educating them about the massive changes in the digital advertising ecosystem and how to navigate them.
● Win new business and drive revenue
● Develop new advocates within agencies to unlock investment from new brands
● Join the leadership team in developing the product features based on feedback from agencies and brands.
● Help develop Sales processes, tools etc. from scratch
What experience will you need:
● At least 4+ years experience selling digital advertising solutions into brands & agencies in London is a critical requirement!
● A great contact book proving your strong existing relationships within agency groups & brands that you can leverage from the off.
● A good understanding of the advertising technology landscape
● Strong negotiation, influencing skills and an ability to persuade at all levels of an agency/client
● Proven track record of hitting sales targets, prospecting and creating new business
● It will be a big plus if you have experience selling to Ad Networks and Affiliate Networks
● Prospecting new clients, including the qualifying and closing new accounts
● Growing and retaining existing business
● Strong presentation and communication skills are essential to effectively lead proposals and client meetings
● Strategically and creatively build a strong pipeline
● Identify and establish new relationships with advertising agencies and direct clients. These will include relationships from Brand Managers, Agency Planners to Director level.
● Full ownership of all aspects of the sell including reporting and optimisation
