This what I’d describe as an essential role. It will help a major & well know Alcohol brand in their period of evolution and rapid growth, who are looking to continue building more emotional connections with their customers.
The opportunity sits as part of a bespoke centralised global client unit, working solely across this client who has a large portfolio of continental beers & ciders. The creation of this function was to build deeper relationships between client & agency on a global scale and continue their efforts in remaining culturally relevant to their consumers.
The client are creativity driven and the team, combined with both the brand & agency work incredibly close together to continue to push the boundaries of media, as they are well known for their branding in popular culture (i.e. music, sports, festivals etc.)
So, what's the role really focused on?
You will be a senior point of contact for the team, commanding strong relationships with senior clients.
You'll work in partnership with other BD's as well as local & regional market leads to ensure the agenda & processes are in place to achieve success.
Oversee the annual client scope, looking at long term opportunities, cutting through the noise and offering senior thought leadership.
Although the role is not focused on direct comms or media planning, you'll need to be able to spot opportunities and drive these to achieve business & client growth.
It really is a senior business & client leadership role, educating them, guiding them and ensure planners, strategists and those alike are joined up.
There is also huge opportunity to drive innovation, be it workstreams or actual media opps.
