Director of eCommerce (News Brand)
Base Salary – c.£100K - £150K + performance related bonus + benefits (salary dependent on experience)
My client is one of the most respected and authoritative editorial voices in the news brands business. Renown for editorial innovation and fantastic content, my client is seen as a trail blazer. Due to expansion, my client is seeking an experienced world class eCommerce Director who can build and drive existing revenue via innovation, product development and execution
This role is about not only driving affiliate revenues from content but also digital transactions, micropayments, ticketing, vouchers, offers and loyalty schemes. This is just an example list and the opportunity is not limited to these avenues.
I’m looking for someone who understands the full customer journey from their behaviours, what drives consumer intent, purchase decisions, the before shelf experience, the actual search and connecting them to the product they are looking for as well as driving basket value, retention and repeat visits.
This is a rare opportunity to get involved in building something really exciting and quite unique at an early stage and having full senior stakeholder buy-in that is backed by some serious investment. My client has a culture of Intellectual curiosity and this role requires someone who is a high-achiever and able to build out and scale eCommerce revenues with double digit growth.
Team management experience in terms of developing and nurturing talent and driving a result orientated high-performance culture is mandatory.
