Experince in finance writing is essential, as is knowledge of SEO best practice, Google Analytics and experience in developing UX/UI copy.
Ensuring all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice, and optimised for search and user experience.
Delivering SEO-friendly product copy across our web properties: Collect, digest and summarise product and promotional offers in the market. Discover the key features of different products and explain them to the user in a clear and easy to understand manner. Work with SEO Lead on content marketing strategy analysis.
Create useful and viral personal finance content: Understands latest SEO trends and content creation techniques to grow readership and traffic to the blog.
Digital marketing and distribution: Besides content creation, also understands how to distribute and amplify that content (organic and paid) across digital/social channels.
Create visual content: Basic knowledge of Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator to break down number-heavy content into bite-sized visuals is a key advantage.
Collaborate with commercial, marketing and customer service team on product information changes or updates, ensure smooth communication among teams.
Communicate with external parties and partners on product information updates.
Being an arbiter of best practices in grammar, messaging, writing, and style.

Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Public Relations or related communications field. MBA in marketing a plus.
6+ years of editorial experience, both long form and web content
2+ years of experience in finance, banking, fintech or personal finance industries
Outstanding command of the English language and thorough understanding of Singapore personal finance market.
Training as a print or broadcast journalist and has a “nose” for the story. Training in how to tell a story using words, images, or audio, and an understanding of how to create content that draws an audience.
The ability to think like an educator, intuitively understanding what the audience needs to know and how they want to consume it. Passion for authentic, relevant, quality, and easy to understand content that will provide valuable insights to our readers.
Fluency in web analytics tools (Google Analytics), social media marketing applications and social media monitoring.
Working knowledge of SEO and how it affects content marketing.
Working knowledge of WordPress.
Well-rounded knowledge of content strategies and effective best practices.
Fundamental understanding of web coding languages such as HTML and CSS is preferred.
Proficient in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets and Slides).
Strong copywriting skills, with emphasis on efficiency and accuracy.
