On behalf of our client, a fantastic agency within one of the large global media groups, we are looking for a Head of Digital to join their agency team working across a key Tier 1 Financial client. This exciting and unique role will lead all paid digital media planning, investment and campaign delivery, as well as all digital technology and data strategy across the agency. Most importantly, the role is also responsible for leading a fantastic team of digital planning and implementation experts across the agency.
In this role, you will have the responsibility to shape and lead the development of the digital product across the agency and into the client business. This includes mapping the strategic roadmap for advertising and digital technology and directing build projects, creating planning frameworks across all digital channels and ensuring that activity has clear paths to market through technology and investment. The digital channels you will be responsible for includes programmatic, search, social, digital video, affiliates and emerging channels. You will work alongside the Head of Performance Strategy to ensure technology, investment and planning pathways are established in the right way to maximise performance outcomes.
Important to this role is strong experience and knowledge across both the Adobe Tech and Google Tech stacks as well as other key digital ad tech partners.
The role is perfect for someone looking to expand their experience within a client-side environment, as the role is responsible for digital media leadership back into the client business. You are the subject matter expert for all things digital media, including technical consultancy, campaign outcomes and industry landscape knowledge. Thought leadership is just the start as you will also instigate change in the business with the goal to progress the digital roadmap. This will be across a Google, Adobe and Salesforce technology stack, integrating with any other technologies to maximise digital media outcomes.
This role reports into the Managing Director and is responsible for leading a team of 22 people with two Digital Directors reporting through to you.

You will likely have 8+ years within digital & media, with many of these already at director level.
Experience in managing large teams, with an attitude to teach, train and nurture
A strong understanding of the local and global marketplace
Local media agency experience
A background in technology, specifically Google and Adobe - Salesforce desireable
Project management expertise, managing multiple stakeholder and large budgets
Digital technology skills, specifically across Google and Adobe products
Experience in large budget negotiation
A willingness to work within performance planning principles and data driven planning tools
Ideally, you will have experience working across Tier 1 clients, financial client experience desireable.
