Head Of / Brand Partnerships Director (Automotive)

£60 - £80K + competitive comms

Background:

Looking for an experienced branded content and brand partnerships professional who has experience working with automotive brands and understands the needs of car clients and how they think. The successful candidate will have track record in brokering big ticket rich, innovative partnerships.

Overview:

  • Developing clear GTM plans to proactively seek out briefs and long-term brand partnerships with both the agency planning and Client community
  • Responding to client and agency briefs
  • Working with the wider cross functional sales team to write and present industry-leading creative solutions presentations
  • Ensuring compliance with pricing & policy guidelines based on market intelligence & competitor positioning
  • Working with Editorial teams to ensure great cross-team collaboration and delivering on the team's overall strategy
  • Delivering on personal annual target and contributing to the overall team number
  • Producing industry-leading sales presentations in response to agency and client briefs
  • Working with clients, media agencies, PRs, creative agencies, specialist marketing companies where necessary to deliver complex integrated solutions
  • Managing internal and external stakeholder expectations in creative solutions project deliver

Essential Experience:

  • Proven experience in creative media sales (preferably online) & / or media / creative agencies.
  • Highly developed communication, creative & analytical skills coupled with a broad understanding of the media industry and the marketing mix
  • Capacity for strategic thought leadership and have managed successful teams previously

Technical /Functional Skills:

  • Strategic sales knowledge & proven ability to adapt to new offerings/products
  • Ability to lead and spark brand partnership ideation and devise compelling creative ideas for brand partnership pitches
  • Demonstrable sales & negotiation skills
  • Presentation & communication skills
  • Deep knowledge of core sales competencies
  • Understanding of automotive space is desirable
  • Lateral, creative and strategic thinker
