Manager, Programmatic & Digital Media

Advisory Services & Management Consultancy (Remote anywhere in the UK)

The Opportunity

We've partnered with a leading, international management consultancy, who in recent years created a marketing & media services advisory division. Within that, they work with the industry as a whole, including Advertisers, Publishers, AdTech Vendors & Agencies on pioneering transparency and technological improvements.

Tackling transparency is a key agenda point. It was once a term used by vendors to seem reliable, yet problems still arise within the ecosystem that makes advertisers uneasy when it comes to buying digitally/programmatically. This is the challenge they are trying to fix and offer advice, auditing and consultancy to those that need it.

The role will be focussed on consulting the four key areas within advertising:

  • AdTech: structural internal processes and controls to assure partners that they are fair/open/transparent.

  • Publishers: optimizing digital inventory to get the best value from programmatic sales - understanding whether their tech vendors are running transparent bid process

  • Advertisers: optimize and audit programmatic spend, understand where the money is going and where it is being used effectively

  • Agencies: as the market matures, agencies will also be asking for help to demonstrate transparency to their clients

What's the required skill set?

  • Highly technical, yet consultative with regards to programmatic advertising

  • Experience across 2 of the 4 key areas in advertising (vendor, advertising, agency, publisher)

  • Experience in an operations/trading role with the technical understanding of DSP's/SSP's (DV 360, The Trade Desk, Adform etc.)

  • Ideally experience working with ad servers (Sizmek, Google Campaign Manager etc.)

  • Fantastic communication & presentation skills

  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Very good understanding of digital advertising and programmatic trading
