My Client is looking for a self-starting Partnerships Director to work in a highly ambitious and dynamic sales team that is looking to add significant revenue in 2019. After launching in 2016, and growing to become the biggest distributor of automotive content in the world, This new age publisher launched its commercial activity in 2018.

With a number of high profile clients already on board, we are looking to recruit an experienced Partnership Director to build their own portfolio of automotive clients. This is a critical time in our business, and for the right person, this is the opportunity to make a huge impact on our business, and grow your career as the business grows with you.

The successful candidate will have the primary responsibilities:

  • Identifying new sales leads and closing existing leads

  • Developing our revenue model, commercial products and/or services

  • Event networking (this role WILL include travel)

  • Selling Direct and IO deals with Agencies and Auto clients across the East Coast.


  • Sociable, amicable, and intuitive - able to read a room

  • Able to pitch to senior staff at clients, and adept at public speaking

  • Reliable, and self-sufficient (we’re a startup, so building your own pitch deck to a keynote template while on a flight, or in a hotel, is not uncommon)

  • Understanding of the wider business and our goals as a company is vital


  • For this role, you must have experience selling into c-level and marketing director level at clients in the past

  • A track record of being able to build a high worth client portfolio from scratch

  • A history of over-achieving and smashing sales targets

  • Preferably 6-8 years experience in either theUS media space or motoring industry

  • History of selling six-figure + products is preferred

When it comes to generating leads, day-to-day duties typically include:

  • Researching organizations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads and potential new markets

  • Researching the needs of other companies and learning who makes decisions about purchasing

  • Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings

  • Inputting on new marketing initiatives designed to attract commercial interest

  • Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events

  • Reporting and provide feedback to upper management about what is and is not working
