The Performance Manager is a client facing mid level manager role focusing on driving best in class digital marketing campaigns across paid search, and paid social. The Performance Manager works within an integrated digital team across a specific client portfolio managing Paid Search delivery and strategy predominantly, plus paid social across Tier 1 clients.
You’ll also have the opportunity to work on new business pitches and bigger strategy pieces for our clients to support the overall commercial viability of the agency. This role reports in the General Manager with support and guidance from the Performance Director.
Manage the development and execution of all aspects of paid search campaigns, ensuring they are well paced, set up for performance and delivered to the high standards set by our team;
Manage your own workflow and responses to ensure agreed deadlines are met, and we are aligning with specific service level agreements to our clients;
Analysis of data across key analytics and advertising platforms to formulate strategy, identify campaign opportunities and drive efficiencies and strong insights for our clients;
Attend client WIP meetings and develop a strong relationship with client contacts;
Provide comprehensive and articulated reporting to illustrate performance and insights to communicate positive client growth opportunities;
Keep up to date with performance marketing best practices, strategies and techniques across all paid search and paid social;
Take ownership and drive the paid search and social strategy of tier 1 clients with the necessary support of the wider performance team;
Develop strong relationships with all internal and external stakeholders including clients and platform partners.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
4+ years' hands-on previous agency experience in a paid search role and be an expert in all aspects of paid search including full use of automation tools;
Strong hands-on knowledge and experience across the following advertising and analytics platforms; Google Ads, Bing Ads, Google Analytics;
Ideally you will have experience in paid social campaigns also, or the desire to learn;
Working knowledge of Facebook Business manager, YouTube, Campaign manager and Google Tag Manager or other tag management systems highly desireable;
Motivated self-starter and able to deliver positive outcomes with Google Analytics and how to implement and interpret data;
Ability to work autonomously and manage yours and the teams workload;
Commercially minded; you can spot a good new business opportunity and upsell area;
A high attention to detail with good organisational and project management skill;
To be a team player, with a can-do attitude and the ability to collaborate with entire;
Excellent presentation and communication skills.
