I know the market is flooded with biddable/ppc/paid social based roles and every agency is looking for these, but this is the first time I've truly seen a role that will allow you to utilise your experience and moving into a holistic cross channel planning role.
The role is built on a few different pillars. The first and probably the most important is to help integrate performance media (PPC) into wider communications plans. This is integral in the development of the accounts you will spend time on. What you get in return for this is the help and upskilling across not just other digital channels but also traditional.
You'll become a holistic media planner, who is taking a look at the brief early and creating media first performance led concepts for your clients. The second pillar is built on client development & education. They have really begun their journey and part of that journey is to broaden their own horizons when it comes to performance marketing.
As you can probably gather, this role is away from the day to day activation of the campaigns, but that doesn't mean you won't be involved in overseeing it. It'll be your job to help educate the activation teams on the strategy, plans and getting the campaigns live! Using all of that search experience in understanding where to make improvements.
