Programmatic Account Director

Location - London

Salary - up to £60,000 depending on experience

Are you an experienced Account Director looking to move for a new challenge or an Account Manager who is interested in taking the next step in their career into an AD position?

We are currently working with one of the most prestigious and well known media agencies globally who have 100+ offices around the world and who have some of the largest household name brands possible in their client roster!

They have spent the last 6 months hiring aggressively across their programmatic division and are now looking for leaders with strong experience managing clients and account managers/executives to come and join their world class team.

There are a number of Account Director roles currently open here which require different skillsets ranging from extremely strong technical programmatic ability to more client facing positions and even roles that will be involved in growing new accounts, expanding their programmatic offering across EMEA!

They are also offering a very competitive salary for an Account Director position alongside the ability to manage some of their Tier 1 clients across EMEA!


  • Executing and managing the clients portfolio through the desired DSP partners

  • Overseeing weekly campaign meetings and reports with agency stakeholders to manage and deliver on the client project through avenues such as DMPs and dynamic creative

  • Identifying and correctly implementing opportunities that will drive the clients portfolio forward

  • Supporting the Programmatic Business Director on new areas that can further programmatic offering

  • Line management of a team of executive, being responsible for their wellbeing, performance and L&D


  • Proficient in multiple DSP’s and strong understanding of RTB and the programmatic ecosystem

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, to be capable to present decks to the team, wider agency team members and client stakeholders

  • Experience managing and developing junior team members

  • Strong programmatic understanding of where the industry is travelling and who emerging new players are

  • Experience working in accounts across multiple regions is highly preferred

  • An analytical mindset and mathematical ability

  • Demonstrable critical thinking and problem solving skills

  • Experience working in a media agency or an Ad tech vendor
