Publisher Development Director (China) 

Full Time Position


Ultimate Asset is the exclusive talent acquisition partner for Hivestack. Hivestack is a global, full stack, adtech company that powers the buy and sell side of programmatic digital out-of-home (DOOH) advertising. 

While Hivestack has a ‘demand-side’ team signing on new advertisers/agencies/buyers onto Hivestack’s DSP, Hivestack’s ‘supply-side’ team needs to ensure Hivestack’s SSP has enough scale and diversity in order to meet campaign requirements. This role will be tasked with initiating publisher conversations across China, demonstrating the benefits and monetization opportunities the Hivestack SSP brings forth, and negotiating and closing publisher agreements. 


  • Work closely with the Sales team to identify gaps in supply, then source and attract new publishers to achieve both scale and diversity of environments across China.

  • Act as an SSP advocate and subject matter expert in China.

  • Prepare and present SSP platform demonstrations to high-level executives of target publishers.

  • Negotiate and close publisher agreements

  • Maintain and prioritize a queue of ongoing integrations and work closely with the Sales Teams and Integration Specialist to ensure supply levels meet demand expectations.

  • Intimately understand technical details of the entire onboarding process and guide publishers through the process.

  • First point of contact in region for existing publisher support, working closely with the Publisher Support Team in Montreal to ensure timely responses and issue resolution.

  • Ensure positive and long-lasting client relationships.


  • 3-5 years experience in one or more of the following: digital agency, OOH, programmatic, online publisher

  • University degree 

  • Fluency in English and Mandarin.

  • Quickly understand and be able to train others on technical concepts such as ad-serving.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication

  • Comfortable negotiating and managing complex business terms and contracts

  • Advance experience in building and delivering presentations 

  • Exceptional customer service skills

  • Startup experience preferred

  • Public speaking experience a plus
