Content is king, with TV being consumed in the masses in America - up to 4hours a day AVERAGE. So despite the Digital world proclaiming that TV is dead, it's very much alive and my client has a huge proposition.
Working as a start-up but owned by one of the biggest media companies in the world they are looking for someone to monetize their inventory across the brand and agency sales piece. Although relatively new as a publisher they are working across huge household names in TV such as American Idol, Jeopardy and Family Feud with huge viewership.
With alternative partners, YouTube has licensed them to directly sell the inventory given that it is transparent and guaranteed brand safety. This gives you premium content, licensed and owned but also actually working directly in the offices of holding companies that create these shows.

Selling the entire European suite of media to clients & agencies as a priority
Selling the digital video inventory portfolio to clients & agencies as a secondary priority (when your existing contacts in the industry or leads are not interested in the European offer)
Developing a customer base of Advertisers to grow revenues for both TV and Digital
Developing existing relationships and increasing spend with key partners
Presenting our digital and TV portfolio to clients and agencies
Responsible for cross media-sales
Analysis of clients’ media and communication strategies, consultancy
Evangelize our digital knowledge and position externally on the market and internally (classical TV sales team)
Preparing marketing decs and brief responses
7-10 years Agency Sales Experience, across NYC mainly but other markets would be favorable.
Experience selling Digital media suites across Video, Youtube or Broadcast
Proven track record in developing new business
Analytical thinking, good presentation skills, well-structured and team-based work
Having sold to Media Agencies and Trading Desks essential
