Sales Director – Programmatic Media Partner

My client is a Programmatic Media Partner looking to hire a Sales Director to grow and scale their business in the SEA region. They’re looking for someone who can help shape and develop world class talent within an award winning motivated and successful global commercial team. The perfect candidate will be well-connected with contacts in SEA based media agencies and clients. As part of the role, you will be engaging with all major agency groups as well as independent agencies to build trusted media partnerships and develop technology based relationships.

The Role

  • Develop a strategy for the SEA business in collaboration with senior management

  • Set vision with targets for wider team, communicate these on a quarterly and a monthly cadence

  • Understand and leverage what drives clients to deepen the relationships

  • Build credibility by educating clients on new things, broadening their perspective

  • Develop and maintain relationships with advertising agencies and clients; able to move between work and non-work topics

  • Participate in industry events and conferences

  • Broad knowledge of competitor offerings in addition to internal offerings and can position us based on that

  • Able to differentiate our product from the market; shows our value in an easy-to-understand manner

  • Spot opportunities in the market and is able to make recommendations to product to capitalise on it

You

  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience working within a programmatic media owner at a senior level within a Sales & strategic planning role.

  • Extensive experience working within the digital advertising industry

  • Programmatic/data led solutions experience

  • Experience in building, management, and execution of robust account strategies

  • Proven track record in delivering business winning proposals through client engagement

  • Experience in presenting to middle & senior client personnel

  • Management Experience within a fast-paced team

  • Experience in building narratives, developing into exciting story-telling and clear proposals
