Sales Manager – Sports Media Platform

£65,000 - £75,000 + bonus – Depending on experience


An exciting new opportunity to join a sports media platform as a UK Sales Manager has come up. They’re looking for an experienced seller with agency contacts who are interested in selling across a wide range of verticals such as – Apparel, Travel, Autos, Alcohol and many more.


The successful candidate will be able to utilise their existing network, as well as develop new ones across the media industry. Educating clients on their proposition and build solutions to solve client challenges


The Role


·       Deliver appropriate solutions for their advertisers utilising audiences across their various digital platforms

·       Develop existing and new relationships with relevant media agencies, sports agencies, PR agencies and clients to unlock new revenue streams

·       Work closely with clients to identify their objectives and build appropriate sales responses and pitches.

·       Manage your day-to-day relationships and ensure salesforce is kept up to date

·       Hit quarterly / annual revenue targets

·       Work closely with the UK sales Director to build and execute trade agreements with agencies and new clients

·       Forge strong internal relationships with our clubs, publishers, editorial, social, legal and marketing teams to maximise sales opportunities.

·       Entertain and host strategically important clients at relevant events.




·       Successful and proven track record in media sales.

·       An established network of industry contacts at either media agencies, sports agencies or clients direct across categories such as Autos, Alcohol, Apparel, Delivery, Travel.

·       A strong understanding of the digital media industry.

·       Experience of selling to both UK and/or International account teams.

·       Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

·       An ambitious, entrepreneurial and proactive mindset.

·       A team player.
