We are looking for someone to join their search team as SEM Trader with SEM performance experience.

You will be part of a team of Traders, working across a number of clients to deliver search campaigns. You will report into the Australian General Manager. This role is the lead search trader for the Sydney office and is responsible for maximising advertisers digital budgets according to their required goals. In more simple words, media traders will be responsible for defining / creating digital SEM strategies, implementing this in SEM platforms (various sophisticated technologies are used) and wisely spending a pre-determined budget - all to ensure client digital goals are reached & that they see a full return on digital investment. You will need to understand how to buy inventory via the technologies at what price and what keyword / audiences / strategies will be successful of a campaign.
The emphasis of the role is very much on taking ownership of the end to end delivery of SEM campaigns, owning the campaign set up and execution, and running the team to ensure the service and the results exceed the client’s expectations. You will support the client services team in analysing performance, generating insights and working with the social and display teams to deliver a rich and integrated service to our clients.
You will take a leading role in devising and planning the account strategy, working with the client services team to develop the client roadmap, identifying new opportunities and media planning to grow your accounts.

Qualifications and Skills
Agency side experience as a Paid Search (SEM) Trader
Experience of running SEM campaigns, developing strategies, optimising for performance, and developing and reporting back insights to clients.
Have extensive experience in managing performance SEM campaigns is a must.
A thorough understanding of the Search space, including keyword optimisation, testing and Paid SEM performance campaigns.
Previous Retail experience is a bonus • Experience of other programmatic channels is a bonus
Comfortable working with data to drive insights and recommendations
Excellent team and client management, and organisational and interpersonal skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications or related area
