Senior Sales Manager - Social Platform
Our client is an emerging high-growth social platform which has raised some impressive capital from Venture Capitalists due to the engaging nature of their proposition. They are on a mission for good and are looking for a well connected Grade A agency sales professional.
The successful candidate will have the following primary responsibilities:
Working with media agencies and clients in a consultative manner, identifying new sales opportunities and winning new RFPs
The ability to influence agencies and clients with insight, data and research to win new business
Helping to develop the revenue model, commercial products and/or services
Experience of selling native ads, video and sponsorship
The role has a UK remit, and the majority of activity will be about working with media agencies but also with some client direct activity.
What's needed for this role?
Good knowledge of the UK Digital Advertising ecosystem
A curious mindset, cerebral and consultative in your approach
The ability to build fruitful long-term deep relationships with key decision makers at agencies and clients
A track record of being able to build a high worth portfolio from scratch
A history of over-achieving and smashing sales targets
Preferably 5 years + experience in a sales environment at a media company
History of selling six-figure deals is essential
Agency planner / buyer / comms planning black book is a must
