A global Agency are looking for a Senior Data Strategist to be the Bridge between their Paid Media and Data & Analytics team and work directly with clients, peers and analysts to design and deliver cutting-edge data strategies.
This role will require a combination of leadership, strategic and problem-solving strengths. You will be flexible in your approach and always searching for new solutions and new techniques
This is primarily a consultative role. This will require a someone coming already with a high level understanding of the principles and techniques of data science, web analytics and customer analysis, and you will use this understanding to design and plan advanced data strategies for their clients.
Some of the Day to day tasks:
Defining measurement plans in collaboration with clients and internal stakeholders.
Advising clients and colleagues on advanced audience / customer segmentation and targeting strategies.
Assisting clients in selecting platforms and vendors.
Mentoring analysts in the Data & Analytics team.
Develop internal approach to data strategy by leading product development initiatives.
This role will allow you to be involved in most of the wider business development, including identifying opportunities for growth, designing appropriate solutions, and presenting in pitches.
Ideal candidate will have:
Strong knowledge of marketing technology, with an emphasis on the Google Marketing Platform / Google Analytics 360.
A strong track record of delivering high-quality data strategies, in either agency or client-side positions.
High-level understanding of data governance, privacy and security issues.
Very strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to manage and influence senior business stakeholders.
