In this role, you will be supporting the team who are fully responsible and accountable for Media Buying within Media Trading Division, ensuring client trading deliverables are met, driving trading competitiveness in pitch pricing, sustainable revenue generation and trading best practices.
Reporting into the APAC Director you will be tasked with managing the trading deliverables of a number of key clients across all APAC markets focusing on reporting accuracy, working with auditors and client procurement teams.
The trading on key regional clients ensuring
Successful delivery of trading commitments
Consistency and accuracy of all reporting requirements
Driving a trading agenda with key clients including procurement
Working with buying team to develop and implement a regional trading community to drive initiatives such as training, best practices and trading consistency
Key support role on New Business pitches and cost exercises including developing our pitch strategy and approach
Co-lead successful deployment of the APAC benchmarking product to ensure central management of pricing
Development of relationships with auditors both regionally and globally
Reviewing reporting templates and processes
Providing advice and support to local offices on media accountability
Skills and experience
A thorough knowledge of media trading metrics and KPIs used to measure media buying performance across all media
A collaborative and astute approach to build trust and respect across our total network
Min. 7 years’ experience gained at one of the following: Media Agency Buying or Investment department, Media Auditor, Media Owner sales department
Proven track record of delivering pricing guarantees that are validated by an auditor
Strategic investment mind-set in developing a trading approach that can be activated on a local market level
Digital trading experience not essential but preferable
Experience in managing people across multiple countries, a sensitivity and understanding of local business culture and practices
High level of numeracy and adept at managing data and using Excel
Excellent analytical / problem solving skills with the patience to examine detail and create solutions
