Senior Sales Development Representative - Cultural Intelligence Platform (SAAS):

Salary - £40-50K + very competitive commission structure! OTE £65-70K realistically - however it is uncapped so you could earn more!

The role/opportunity:

Are you an SDR, who's looking to sell a really cool product and earn good money?

I'm partnered with a Marketing Tech business who offer rich online cultural intelligence insights and they have an in-house team of content strategy experts that help turn these insights into meaningful solutions for brands when they are planning their content strategy in a constantly evolving world, where trends move fast.

Their goal is to help brands understand current culture and understand different online tribes' interests better to help brands achieve their content marketing goals.

They use sophisticated AI to aggregate social & online content across the internet which can be used to provide insights on how online audiences engage with content and cultural trends, they can the break these audiences into different categories or 'online tribes'. The insights in the platform mainly look at audience data, showing content people are engaging with, what interests are rising and falling to help brands better understand audiences they want to engage with and then their in house team then can help them make sense of this data & insight to help brands navigate the constantly changing trends in a fast moving digital world, to ensure their content marketing is on point and engaging the audiences they target.

The data shows the ‘what’s going on?’ The strategist then analyses the ‘why is that happening’ and then turns it into something brands can do about it. This end to end service gives them a point of difference from other SAAS content marketing businesses, as they offer more strategic advice and consultancy. They work with many of the biggest global brands and are now growing their sales team!

The role:

  • The SDR role involves speaking to prospective brands who could benefit from this service and platform. Their role is qualifying leads and booking meetings for the team to close and pitch for.

  • There is some outreach but they also have a lead gen team which helps them generate the vast majority of these calls.

  • You'll be speaking with potential clients getting them to understand the value of the tool and their strategic consultancy to ensure they are bought into the product, and they you will intro them to the wider team who will hep close the business.

  • It's a great role where if you hit targets each month you could look at taking home about £2K a month on top of your base salary which is very lucrative.
