Senior Sales Manager - Connected TV

£55K - £70K + comms + benefits

Our client is an emerging high-growth player in the Connected TV space with some really compelling channel representation in the sports, passion centre, music and ents space which and we are looking for a well connected Grade A agency sales professional that knows AV Teams and Comms Planning teams to ignite conversations around VOD spend and Sponsorships and Promotions as well as programmatic. The successful candidate will have the following primary responsibilities:

  • Working with media agencies and clients in a consultative manner, identifying new sales opportunities and winning new RFPs

  • The ability to influence agencies and clients with insight, data and research to win new business

  • Helping to develop the revenue model, commercial products and/or services

  • Experience of selling native ads, video, display and sponsorship

  • Good knowledge of the digital and social media ecosystem

  • The role has a UK remit, and the majority of activity will be about working with media agencies but also with some client direct activity

What's needed to succeed in the role?

  • Good knowledge of the UK AV, Broadcast, Digital Advertising ecosystem

  • A curious mindset, cerebral and consultative in your approach

  • The ability to build fruitful long term deep relationships with key decision makers at agencies and clients

  • A track record of being able to build a high worth portfolio from scratch

  • A history of over-achieving and smashing sales targets

  • Preferably 5 years + experience in a sales environment at a reputable media company

  • History of selling six-figure deals is essential

  • Thorough and detailed AV / Digital / Trading Desk / Agency Planner / Buyer / Comms Planning black book is a must (applications without contacts will not be considered)
