Trade Marketing Director - Hivestack (North Asia)

Full Time Position

Hong Kong

Hivestack is a global, full stack, adtech company that powers the buy and sell side of programmatic digital out-of-home (DOOH) advertising. 

Reporting to the CMO, your main responsibility is to evangelize and educate agencies, brands and media owners in China on the value proposition of programmatic DOOH. In this role you will also be responsible for collaborating closely on all global Marketing campaigns driving awareness and adoption of Hivestack’s technology across our various audience groups. 

We would like a team member who can lead, execute and work collaboratively with the global marketing team - with passion, product knowledge and humility. 

How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Plan, develop and manage the regional go-to market strategy aligned to the business objectives and through the effective collaboration and prioritization of your regional sales and client service colleagues

  • Utilizing an insights-driven approach, you will ensure excellence in content creation, creative and maximum impact of all marketing materials for your region 

  • Bringing market-specific insights are integrated into global campaign plans and lead localized “on the group” execution with relevant media, sponsors, partners and prospects

  • Partner with internal subject matter experts on a range of tactics including PR/Comms, lead generation and brand awareness campaigns and event marketing 

  • Maintain a close relationship with your regional business teams to keep sales/client teams informed of marketing activities and ensure alignment on lead follow-up

  • Develop strategic relationships with regional trade press and industry organizations 

  • Oversee sponsorship and partner opportunities, as well as earned media engagements 

  • Working with the CMO and CRO, establish goals and objectives for all regional marketing activities - enforce discipline for opportunity evaluation/selection, capacity-planning and executional excellence

  • Manage/track budget and spend, working with the CMO to create a quarterly marketing investment plan for the region

What You’ll Bring to the Table:

  • 10-15+ years experience of in-region Marketing experience for a Global company

  • Depth in full funnel marketing tactics - performance marketing mindset

  • The ideal candidate would have a deep understanding of programmatic advertising constructs such as OpenRTB, Header Bidding, DSPs and SSPs

  • The ideal candidate must be self-driven with a high degree of ownership and have strong business acumen, excellent communication and project management skills

  • Proven expertise designing, executing and measuring trade marketing programs to acquire, retain and expand existing customer base

  • Experience in performance and acquisition marketing is required: search engine optimization, webinars and other lead generation tactics

  • Experience managing and executing trade events, thought leadership, press and trade partnerships 

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, you thrive in a highly collaborative, fast paced environment and can balance building consensus with decision making 

  • A track record in formulating promotional and outbound messaging 

  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills (Including PowerPoint) 

  • Experience using Salesforce, Hubspot, WordPress, Google Suite 

  • Fluency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese 

  • Position is based in Hong Kong (running Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and China)
