Are you a leader, with the ambition, knowledge and creativity to help take a major player in video advertising through their next phase of growth? In all seriousness, the role is pivotal in building the reputation of this global media leader within Programmatic & premium content.
Now, they are currently in a very strong position, having been acquired back in 2017. They have invested well into the business, reaching brands all over the world by a team well over 650 and operating out of 10+ offices. As you can imagine, if the product wasn't successful, they wouldn't have achieved that success, right?
This is a regional role, building the marketing strategy for multiple territories across Europe, amplifying the brand and delivering on the brand message! They have a number of up and coming products that they will be looking to roll out in 2019, there is real scope to partner with the US & APAC on developing the global marketing strategy.
You'll have the support of a fantastic marketing team, based in multiple locations across Europe, who understand their individual markets and how to evolve the product further. What they do need is a strategic lead, who can give them direction and produce high end marketing strategies.
This role reports directly into the SVP based in the US. You'll be his lead across Europe, with the support of the GM to help on day to day decision making! It is a very senior role, with leadership responsibilities in each office across Europe.
So, what are the key skills required for this role?
Like most technology businesses, they're looking to attract brands or agencies (media), they need a confident speaker within ad-tech, who can talk confidently at industry talks & events.
It involves a number of key aspects, including; PR, Social, Events, Blogs, Presentations, Playbooks, Content etc.
The ability to craft storylines that convert complex technology into simple messages that attract the right marketers to the product.
Ownership if the European marketing budget.
Evolvement of the best in class talent, both from a recruitment and management standpoint.
Strong relationship builder, with the external creative agency as well as internal marketers, PR specialists and operations teams.
