Yield Analysis and Revenue Operations Forecasting Manager

£55,000 - £75,000 base salary + 30% annual bonus

My client is a well-known household publishing brand and is seeking an accomplished Yield & Revenue Manager who is data-driven and able to work with senior management in terms of advanced yield and revenue forecasting. The duties of this person will include packaging up inventory in the optimal manner to be able to maximise revenue generation. This will require tight forecasting and modelling with data to look at all available scenarios on how to package and price all display, native, programmatic and video ad inventory formats so as to drive optimal external pricing and revenue delivery by the sales team.

A key requirement for this role is someone who can find the trends and story in complex data-sets and distill the findings into actionable easy to follow insights. The ability to also liaise with senior board members to be able to simplify the story and get management buy in is also advantageous.

Aside from being highly analytical in mindset, comfortable with data, organised, meticulous, a sharp attention-to-detail we are looking for someone who understands the digital advertising ecosystem and has a good understanding of the latest ad tech and programmatic trends.

Technically, we are looking for someone who has the following skillset:

  • Demonstrable command of SQL with experience of projects carried out academically or for leisure is essential

  • Handling dataset with Python, using libraries like Numpy, Pandas, and Mathplotlib is advantageous

  • Experience with Cloud-based services, such as GCP or AWS is desirable

  • Exposure to ML tools such as Google Cloud AI Platform or Tensorflow would be an advantage

There is some management responsibility as this role will also line-manage two analysts so the ability to lead, nurture and develop more junior members of the team is essential.

This role will report into the Director of Global Ad Ops.
